I am an adolescent and adult therapist with training and experience in interpersonal conflict, depression, anxiety, suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, and trauma. I will shape my approach to meet your unique goals and needs. During our time together, my hope would be for you to feel valued, supported, encouraged, and challenged to gain insight, emotional awareness, and motivation to change the things that are negatively affecting your life.
Overall, I want you to feel confident in your ability to use positive, skillful behavior in times of emotional distress and ineffective thinking. I will provide evidenced based therapy in order to help you view situations more clearly and respond more effectively.
Your life is valuable and to be lived fully. I would love to come alongside you, no matter what you are facing, to provide empathy, support, and space to sort through the messy and painful parts of life as well as the every day parts too. I believe openness, honesty, willingness, and a positive therapeutic relationship are the main components to a successful therapy experience. Feel free to reach out to ask questions and to see if I would be a good fit for you and your needs.
